In October 2004, eight of our counselors successfully completed the Level One Reiki Training Course. We now have 8 Reiki practitioners and 1 Reiki Master, Ellen Ross-Jue, M.Ed., C.P.C., in our agency. The training was a success and an opportunity for us to expand our services to assist clients in healing on a deeper level.

Below are some testimonials from our clients who participated in a pilot trial Reiki program conducted at Counseling and Consulting Services. Clients responded to the following question:

What degree of relaxation did you experience during your Reiki Session?

10, being extremely relaxed.

Ellen Ross-Jue, M.ED. C.P.C., Reiki Master, became interested in Reiki after over 20 years of counseling individuals with a wide variety of issues and life situations. She became frustrated with using traditional therapy techniques, feeling that her clients needed healing on some deeper level. Her quest for a deeper level of healing led her to Reiki. Reiki has changed her life profoundly and she has seen some miraculous results with her clients.
