Domestic Violence Programs for Men, Women and Juveniles

These gender-specific, age-specific programs guide clients in recognizing and eliminating abusive behavior with partners, spouses and other family members.

For adult offenders, the program consists of a 4-week Orientation & Education component, followed by a 22-week Core Group for first time offenders. Second-time offenders receive an extra 10 weeks of Aftercare group services for a total of 36 sessions. Third-time offenders receive another additional 16 sessions (total of 52 sessions), which may include adjunct work in substance abuse, parenting, or couples/family sessions.

Kids of Domestic Violence

This group is designed for the 8-10 year old child who has witnessed or vicariously experienced the dynamics of domestic violence in the home. All groups will include some experiential activities, such as play therapy, art therapy, psychodrama, role-playing, movement therapy, work with clay, puppets and other therapeutic games.

These services are provided through individual and group modalities. Adjunct couple and family services are available. All services require an initial screening interview, including assessments.
