Behavioral Assessment, Consultation and Specialized Counseling Services for Students, Parents, and Teachers

Counseling & Consulting Services will provide a full range of behavioral consultation services in school settings, including:

1. Functional Behavioral Assessment
   
   
2. Behavior Treatment Planning Integrated with Individualized Education Programs
   
   
3. Implementation of Positive Behavior Support Interventions and Classroom Management
   
   
4. Specialized Counseling.
   
   
5. Case management to facilitate coordination of team resources.

Counseling & Consulting Services will facilitate successful collaboration between Education, Behavioral Health, Developmental Disabilities, Child Protective Services and the Juvenile systems through:

1. Participation in adult and child-family teams, and other person-centered planning approaches, through the role of outside and professional consultant.
   
   
2. Serving as team facilitator when asked by the team or the Comprehensive Service Provider.
   
   
3. Providing assessment and treatment planning input to inform stakeholders of the most relevant skills training that may be needed.
   
   
4. Assisting systems to identify cost-effective strategies for resource sharing to effectively serve children with multiple needs, including autism, Aspergers Syndrome, and other developmental disabilities and behavioral health concerns.
