What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it’s all about.

Dave has been working in the field of mental health since 1995. He earned his BSW from Wayne State University in 1998 and his MSW from University of Denver in 2000. He has worked in a variety of levels of care that include inpatient hospitals, residential placements, intensive outpatient programs, outpatient programs, and group homes. Dave specializes in working with people suffering from Co-Occurring disorders and people diagnosed with a Serious Mental Illness.  Dave also has experience in Motivation Enhancement Therapy, Transtheoretical Model of Behavior Change, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Rational Emotive Therapy.

Harrison graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in psychology in 2007. He then entered a dual-Master’s program at Argosy University/Phoenix where he obtained a Master’s in Sport-Exercise Psychology and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, completing the programs in 2010. Working at CCS is Harrison’s first official foray into the behavioral/mental health field. Harrison has previously worked with athletes in multiple sports on mental skills training and teambuilding. Harrison also coaches high school lacrosse in Phoenix.

Carol has 15 years experience in DDD working to improve the lives of children/ adults with challenging behaviors. One of her personal favorite contributions was teaching a deaf, blind child to sign for “food” and “water”. After two years of daily persistence through trials and errors, she learned to sign; and this greatly improved the quality of her life! Her passion is mentoring young girls as a Sahuaro Council Girl Scout Leader for eight years and counting.
