Karen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies and Music/Vocal Performance from Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. She earned her Master of Arts Degree in Pastoral (Professional) Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, Ohio. Karen’s experience in the Mental Health field includes counseling individuals, couples, juveniles and groups. Karen has also specialized in working with grants focused on decreasing out-of-home placements and those involved in the Court Ordered Behavioral Rehabilitation Alternative Program (COBRA), probation and diversion programs. She has conducted trainings and groups on parenting, life-skills, relationships, ADD, Dysthymic Disorder and grief, loss and trauma issues. Her interests lie in a variety of areas including working with those diagnosed with Reactive Attachment Disorder, Autism and in utilizing alternative methods of therapeutic approaches such as Animal Assisted, Music and Adventure-based Therapies. |

Angela Keith, Ph.D., L.P.C.
Licensed Psychologist
Angela is a licensed psychologist working with the Homestead North treatment team. She completed her Masters in Community Counseling in 2001 and went on to attain her PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2005, both at Northern Arizona University. Angela has 10 years working in community mental health, primarily with children and families. She is trained to work with children, adolescents and adults presenting with a variety of issues including mood disorders, trauma, phase of life issues, ADHD, issues with adjudication, and family or sibling conflict. Angela also completes full psychological evaluations to determine diagnosis, psychological functioning and recommendations for treatment. |
