Dr. Harvey is the founder of Counseling & Consulting Services. He has thirty-five years of professional experience in behavioral health, developmental disabilities, education, and criminal justice services. He specializes in program development, consultation, and training expertise in behavior change approaches to benefit children, adults, organizations, and communities.

Dana earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona. She attended Graduate school at Prescott College, earning her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. Dana is an Arizona Office of Problem Gambling approved counselor. She facilitates groups with women, focusing on Healthy Relationships and Domestic Violence. She specializes in the areas of; addictions, gambling, and experiential learning. |

Denise is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a seasoned clinician who has recently joined the DBS team. She has extensive experience with Behavioral Interventions for children pre-K-12, adolescents and families. Denise has been a Child Family Team facilitator, a creative Developer and Coordinator of Intercultural Community Prevention programs. She has provided clinical and therapeutic interventions with a wide range of populations including individuals with developmental disabilities, individuals with severe mental illness, juvenile corrections and multi-cultural adults. Denise has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Prescott College in Prescott Arizona. Denise has a background in Fine Arts, and enjoys incorporating experiential, holistic approaches to treatment, including: ritual, Expressive Arts, metaphor, symbolism, Jungian approaches, mindfulness, Gestalt, Play Therapy and Role Play, in addition to standard Cognitive Best Practice informed by models such as Brief Strategic Family Therapy, CBT and DBT. |

Pamela Swendseid, M.A.
Intern
Pamela has a masters degree in nursing from Montana State University and received her Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from Arizona State University. She holds a national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner and works at Tanque Verde Family Practice providing primary care to all ages of patients. She is pursuing a Master’s in mental health counseling currently from Argosy University in Phoenix and is serving a one year internship. Her special interests are substance abuse, chronic pain, and the interdependence of medical and psychological health issues. |
