Dr. Harvey is the founder of Counseling & Consulting Services. He has thirty-five years of professional experience in behavioral health, developmental disabilities, education, and criminal justice services. He specializes in program development, consultation, and training expertise in behavior change approaches to benefit children, adults, organizations, and communities.

Guy is the Program Coordinator for the DBS team at Counseling & Consulting Services Tucson office since 2005 and provides supervision and training to the DBS team as well as CPES residential supervisors and other agencies.  He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University and has been a Social Work Field Instructor for Columbia University.  Guy has consulted extensively with families, schools, residential facilities and treatment teams utilizing approaches and strategies from Positive Behavior Supports (PBS), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and from the field of behavioral health.  He was for years the senior Behavior Specialist and Interim Clinical Director at Anderson School, a state-of-the-art residential school for children and adults with Autism and other developmental disabilities in upstate New York.  Guy has trained with experts in both PBS and ABA, and completed post-graduate courses of study in beginning and advanced ABA.

Ariella earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish from Northern Arizona University. She is currently working towards a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Argosy University-Phoenix. As an intern at the Flagstaff office, Ariella carries her own caseload and clients with a wide range of needs. Ariella specializes in youth involved in the juvenile justice system and those who are diagnosed with Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Conduct Disorder. Ariella looks forward to graduating in August 2009 and pursuing her license as a professional counselor.

Program Coordinator

Arnetta has a Master’s Degree in Education and has over 25 years of experience working with both children and adults with developmental disabilities and adults with serious mental illness. She has provided positive behavioral support to teams within the state as well as conducted training to state employees and families.

Cedar graduated from Colorado State University with a double major of Psychology and Specialized Communications in 1997. She received her Master’s of Arts degree in Counseling from Adams State College in 2002. Cedar has an employment background in CPS and Probation, as well as working with clients with substance abuse problems.

Dana earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona. She attended Graduate school at Prescott College, earning her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. Dana is an Arizona Office of Problem Gambling approved counselor. She facilitates groups with women, focusing on Healthy Relationships and Domestic Violence. She specializes in the areas of; addictions, gambling, and experiential learning.

Doug graduated in 1980 from The University of Arizona with a Master’s degree in Counseling, and graduatied with a second Master’s degree in Social Work from San Diego State University in 1995. Doug had been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Utah, Minnesota, and Arizona sice 1997. He specializes in substance abuse, systems therapy, couples and individual counseling, and has an interest in parenting.

Gale is a transplant to Arizona from the Chesapeake Bay shores in Maryland. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and Performance from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and a Masters in Education with a concentration in Special Education from Northern Arizona University. Her first experience with students with disabilities was as a home teacher for her local school district, which became the impetus for the direction of her passion and career. Gale has considerable experience working with individuals with autism as well as other disabilities as a teacher, ABA habilitation therapist and a behavior specialist. She has served as Vice President and on the Board of Directors of the Autism Society of America, Pima County Chapter and was cofounder and Chairperson of the annual Piece the Puzzle Autism Walk and Resource Fair in Tucson. Gale credits her mother and her experience in music to life’s testament that just a little discipline and a whole lot of listening makes us sensitive to the world and the needs of others.

Jessica received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona in 2006. She has experience working with children and older adults with mental illnesses. Jessica is also certified in ASIST Suicide Intervention.

Nicole has Bachelors of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Arizona. She has been working with children who have been diagnosed with Autism for the last eight years. Nicole has also extensively trained under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst as well as attended numerous trainings relating to ABA and Autism. Nicole has been a lead habilitation trainer for different agencies, trained habilitation providers and parents on how to implement in-home programs. Nicole specializes in teaching others how to work with children with Autism, implement behavior plans, and implementing Early Intervention programs.

Serena Gorgueiro, Psy.D.

Dr. Gorgueiro graduated from Alliant International University with a Doctorate in Forensic Psychology. Her specialties are working with mandated and privately referred sexual offenders and victims of sexual abuse. She also conducts psychosexual evaluations, general psychological evaluations, and I.Q. evaluations for the courts, the Department of Developmental Disabilities and private clients. She is able to conduct therapy and evaluations in both Spanish and English.

Sonya has been a counselor and consultant for a number of years at Counseling & Consulting Services in Tucson. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ft. Lewis College, Durango Colorado, and a Master of Arts degree from Adams State College, Alamosa, Colorado. Sonya has been working with individuals with developmental disabilities for 20 years. At Counseling & Consulting Services Sonya provides counseling and consulting services for individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and support staff in group homes and school environments. In addition, Sonya provides counseling and psychotherapy for clients referred by CPS and Adult Probation. Sonya is a member of the Adlerian Society of Arizona.

Paul has a background in teaching and has worked with children and adolescents with autism since 2007. He has been a habilitation provider, and has trained habilitation providers and parents on how to implement in-home ABA programs. As a consultant with CCS, Paul specializes in teaching others how to work with imposing and challenging clients with Autism and developmental disabilities, and implement behavior plans and exercise programs.

Sarah Leone, Ph.D.

Sarah has worked in the field of developmental disabilities for 15 years and has extensive experience with varieties of clinical work and research. She received her doctorate in the Psychology of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities after completing a study establishing a new screening instrument to detect autism spectrum disorders in very young children. At CCS she provides a variety of consultation.

Jodi Cuneo

Jodi graduated from Rutgers University with a double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice. She then went on to attain her Masters degree in Forensic Psychology from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice at C.U.N.Y. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Walden University and is performing her clinical time with Counseling and Consulting Services. Jodi’s experience includes working with juvenile offenders in a detention setting, sexual offenders, and those who are developmentally disabled. Her therapy with offenders focuses on working with individual strengths and healthy integration into the community to help re-create productive members of society.

Samar is a Consultant for the Counseling & Consulting Services DBS team.  She received a Masters of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Virginia Tech, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, from Binghamton University in NY.  Samar has worked as an intensive in-home family therapist with children, troubled adolescents and their families, as well as working with individuals diagnosed with serious mental illnesses as a counselor and support specialist.  She currently provides behavioral consultation and counseling for individuals dually diagnosed with developmental disabilities and mental health disorders, as well as consultation for their families and support staff.  Samar also provides services for children, adolescents and adults individual and group modalities focusing on developing healthy relationship and effective coping skills.

Rebecca is a native Arizonan who received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Arizona and has 30 units of post graduate work towards her Master of Arts in education. She has 20 years experience in the field from numerous milieu including inpatient, residential, education, individual and group therapy, and is a certified and experienced wrap around facilitator. Rebecca’s primary focus has been working with children, families and their needs, developing and implementing behavior plans in the home, school and elsewhere. Rebecca’ recent experience with adults in the mental health system has rounded out her experiences to allow her to provide counseling and consulting services for individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and support staff in group homes and school environments here at CCS.

Caraleen is part of the Tucson Admin team. She oversees the daily operations in our Tucson office and supervises the admin staff. Caraleen prepares our pre-billing and coordinates all new hire paperwork and HR related duties. Caraleen has been with CPES/CCS since May 2006.

Christine is responsible for supporting our Flagstaff office from our Tucson office. She enters in all the new referrals and completes all the data entry for our Flagstaff clients. Christine is also a receptionist in the evening. Christine has been with CPES/CCS since April 2005.

Jeri is an admin assistant/receptionist in our Tucson office. She is a responsible for making sure that all the clients that come into the office are checked in and entered in our system. She is also responsible for our data entry for probation. Jeri processes all new incoming referrals. Jeri has been with CPES/CCS since May 2008.

Loretta is on our Tucson Admin Team. Loretta works closely with the counselors collecting information on all of their daily client encounters and enters it into billing. She is also the Tucson day shift receptionist. Loretta has been with CPES/CCS since February 2006.

Ursula is one of our Admin Assistants in the Tucson office, as well as the File Clerk. She is responsible for keeping all the clients records up to date. She also assists in the monthly billing process along with the monthly billing reports. Ursula has been with CPES/CCS since January 2006.
