Our DBS team provides a comprehensive array of behavioral-based services.  We work in collaboration with clients, families, caregivers and providers, using principles and programs from behavioral models such as ABA and PBS.  Our goal is to help bring about significant improvement in our clients’ lives - significant for them and for those connected to them.

Behavioral interviewing and counseling; Functional Behavior Assessment; Behavioral Support Planning; Development of Behavioral-based systems and programs; Anger Management Training; Social Skills Training; and Training for Healthy Sexuality, Boundaries and Relationships - all geared for individuals with special needs.

He provides individual counseling services to persons with developmental disabilities, and behavioroal consultations and training services to family member and staff persons who support people with disabilities. Phil also assists with developing and implementing intensive individualized training stratgities and programs for person with developmental disabilities.

Sonya has been a counselor and consultant for a number of years at Counseling & Consulting Services in Tucson. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ft. Lewis College, Durango Colorado, and a Master of Arts degree from Adams State College, Alamosa Colorado. Sonya has been working with individuals with developmental disabilities for 20 years. At Counseling & Consulting Services Sonya provides counseling and consulting services for individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and support staff in group homes and school environments. In addition, Sonya provides counseling and psychotherapy for clients referred by CPS and Adult Probation. Sonya is also a member of the Adlerian Society of Arizona.

Jessica has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California at Riverside. She also has a Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of San Diego. Jessica has worked directly with individuals diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disabilities for 4 years at the Center of Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) in San Diego. She has provided group services for school aged children with disabilities. She currently trains providers and families to implement appropriate programs and specializes in Positive behavior Support as well as ABA.

Nicole has worked with children with developmental disabilities for the past eight years. She has trained extensively under Board-Certified behavioral analysts as well as attended numerous trainings relating to ABA and Autism. Nicole has been a lead habilitation trainer for different agencies and trained habilitation providers and parents on how to implement in-home programs. She also specializes in teaching others how to work with children with Autism, implement plans, and implementing Early Intervention programs.
